Why I started

Haven

I started professionally cleaning six years ago, though the idea for Haven came much later.

I was cleaning my grandma's home in Terravita when I began thinking about the people living around her, particularly those who had grown older in homes they loved. A home can remain deeply important to someone even when caring for it becomes more difficult. Age, disability, work, family, or simply the weight of life can change what a person has the energy to maintain.

I wanted the company to begin in the same spirit in which the idea came to me, through care for the community around my family. So Haven is beginning by offering ten complimentary cleanings within the community, and we offer ongoing discounts for seniors and people with disabilities.

There should be no judgment attached to needing help caring for your home. We all move through different seasons of life, with different capacities. Sometimes caring for someone simply means helping them create a home in which they can live a little more peacefully.

Consistency over convenience

We try to keep the same cleaner or team on your home visit to visit. It's not always one person, sometimes a bigger job needs more hands, but the goal is always someone who already knows your house.

A flat rate, up front

You see a real number before we start, priced at or a little under what you'd expect for the same job in the Valley. It doesn't change once we show up, and seniors and people with disabilities get a discount.

Safe around the whole house

Unscented, fragrance-free products as the default, safe around kids and pets. If you'd rather we use something of yours, just leave it on the counter.
